wise toassume the crane is unsafe
andnot compliantwithWorkHealth
and Safety Regulations includingplant

readily identifiedby CICAdue to:
• The sticker/inspectiondetails being
CICA alert on counterfeit CraneSafe ‘Green Stickers’
falsifiedandnot registeredon the
CraneSafedatabase
• The sticker not issuedby CICAona valid
CraneSafe approved sticker
• The sticker beingapoor or flawed copy
of a validCraneSafe ‘Green Sticker’
Members, craneowners/users, operators
and safety officers are encouraged to:
1 Examine the sticker toobtain the key
dataand look for any irregularities
2 Donot rely upona visual checkof the
sticker only
3 Examine the inspection andapproval
documentation supporting the sticker
4 If youhave any concerns, identify the
CraneSafeRegistrationCertificate
