shouldbepositioned to clearly
indicate the locationof the
emergency descent controls.
Operators should ensure
somebody at ground level is
properly trainedonhow touse
the controls inanemergency.

GoldCardwas effective on1 February
2014.The onlineApp is up and running
but the hard copy system is available
aswell.This newprogram also includes
a new Jibmodule.Themost common
modules delivered are forks followed
by bucket.TrainedOperator GoldCards
from 1 February 2014will all contain a
photoof the operator.
AccreditedTrainers have beenupgraded
in all States tobe qualified to carry out
this newprogramwhich ismapped
toRIIHAN309AConduct Telescopic
Materials Handler Operations.
EWPAYELLOWCARD
OPERATOR TRAINING
TheYellowCard training continues to
gainmore andmore acceptance. There
are over 350 EWPAAccreditedTrainers
aroundAustralia capable of carrying
out this training.TheGoldCardApp is
workingwell withmore than 80%of
EWPA trainers using the online system
forYellow andGoldCards.
