Australian Pump has introduced a new
clean and capture steam cleaner system.
Designed to enable operators to comply
with EPA regulations, the Hydro-Loop
Junior consists of a 3,500psi steam cleaner,
trailer mounted with its own used water
recovery and recycling system.
“The best news for operators is we have
managed to pull the list price down to
below $20,000,”Aussie Pumps’ Hamish
Lorenz said.
Australian Pump introduced the Hydro-
Loop to Australia around five years ago
and said contractors and local government
bodies used the Hydro-Loop system
because it provides a genuine clean
and capture system with real capability.
Versions are available with either petrol or
diesel drive engines. They come on heavy
duty trailers or can be skid mounted for
installation on to a truck or utility vehicle.
“The great advantage of the Hydro-Loop
is it carries its own water supply,” Hamish
said. “That means the operator and
machine can be completely self-sufficient
during the cleaning function.”
Another benefit is even under the new
safety standards for high pressure
water blasting equipment, the Junior
can be operated with only one
operator.
The Hydrotek steam cleaner delivers
17lpm flow and maximum temperature
of up to 130 degrees C. It’s powered by
a Vanguard twin cylinder electric start
18hp engine and features a heavy duty
triplex pump.
The machine, with 750 litre impact
resistant poly water tank, is mounted
on a single axle trailer, designed to be
registrable in all states in Australia.
Standard equipment also includes a
stainless steel hose reel capable of taking
up to 40m of high pressure hose. The
swivel on the hose reel is rated to 5,000psi.
The package includes the vacuum filtration
system and heavy duty two stage motor
and two replaceable filter cartridges. The
filter system itself, filtering used water from
the job, processes it through seven stages
of filtration before returning it to the tank
to be reused by the steam cleaner.
The package includes containment berms,
an Aussie ‘scupper head’ vacuum head
and 15m of heavy duty vacuum hose.
This enables the operator to collect the
used cleaning water and vacuum it up for
reprocessing.
An optional 22” heavy duty stainless steel
flat surface cleaner with vacuum port
is available. That means for flat surface
cleaning ie: car parks, the used liquid
is sucked into the filtration system and
returned to the tank as the operator cleans.
