In order to optimally introduce Ruthmann

products to potential customers

across Australia, Nifty-Lift organises

roadshows on a regular basis. Together

with Ruthmann, STEIGER products are

showcased at regional fairs all over the

country. The HIRE15 trade show, for

example, was a huge success from start

to finish. This event – organised by the

Hire and Rental Industry Association

– was held in Adelaide fromApril 28th

– April 30th, 2015. Interesting customer

discussions were held, lucrative contracts

initiated, and many new contacts were

established.

In the first months of the partnership,

established by the two companies in

early 2013, it was primarily Ruthmann’s

height performance-Steiger that appealed

to the Australian truck-mounted aerial

work platform market.

To satisfy the growing demand,

Ruthmann and Nifty-Lift have now

introduced an additional model to

Australia. The Steiger TB 270 – mounted

on a 4.5t Iveco Daily all-wheel chassis –

is an all-rounder. The TB 270 is the first

and only truck-mounted work platform

in Australia with a 27m working height

that can be operated by anyone holding

a valid passenger car driver’s licence (for

vehicles up to 4.5t GVW).

The purchase in July last year followed

on the heels of the announcement of the

government’s business tax incentives

which enabled Duralift to make the large

not have otherwise been possible.

According to Haulotte’s Managing

Director, Keith Clarke, Duralift is a fast

growing, premium hire company with a

reputation built on the reliability of its

service and equipment and a customer

driven focus.

“Duralift has one of the newest fleets

in Melbourne, with over 90% of the

fleet being under five years old. Duralift

has a strong fleet of Haulotte products

which are valued for their reliability,

performance and superior return on

investment.

“On 14 July 2015, Duralift held a local

business event to celebrate its purchase

and the delivery of the new Haulotte

access equipment.

The Hon Tony Smith (now speaker)

and Michael Sukkar, the MPs of Casey

and Deakin, were present at the event

to cut the ribbon on the new Haulotte

equipment and celebrate this milestone.

“Both MPs shared their time at the

Half a million of Haulotte equipment boosts tax incentives

event to speak to Duralift and major

business partners that were also present

– including Haulotte Group, Odrocs, The

Field Group – on the day about the local

economy and business,” Keith said.

“Duralift commented purchasing such

a large amount of new equipment helps

keep the local economy strong and keeps

their customers happy with new and

reliable equipment they can trust,” Keith

said.

“It was a great event and Duralift owners

Tony and Michael were thrilled to see the

effect small business incentives can have

in real life. Duralift is certainly proving the
