“The Force 5 is designed for heavy-duty

industrial and construction cleaning

applications and features a dead-man

trigger, a safe alternative to dangerous,

‘home-made’ types,”Andrew Knight from

Knight Pneumatics said.

“They are also designed with a rugged,

pistol-grip style aluminium handle and

adjustable auxiliary handle.”

According to Andrew, all models are

available from 15cm to 182cm in length

and available in heavy-duty aluminium or

steel extensions with Venturi and Quiet

“The Inforcer Series Safety Air Gun has

a thermally insulated, in-line style, steel

handle and has the option of a Steel

Chisel Point Nozzle for extra strength,“

Andrew said.

“The HydroForce Series Power Wash Gun

combines compressed air and water to

generate superior cleaning power. Single

trigger operation provides convenient air/

JCB CEA National Excavator Product

Manager, Deon Cope, said: “The

JS300 incorporates the tried and true

elements of other JCB models to create

a superstructure that comes with all the

improvements and benefits of our larger

range, but in a more compact body.”

“The hydraulic tank on the new JS300

has maximum sight gauge capacity of

238 litres – an increase of 40% – that

allows the machine to work in the most

extreme conditions and temperatures,”

Deon said.

“This machine has been built with

Australian conditions in mind. It can

withstand hot and harsh environments

and reach peak performance when doing

demanding jobs,” Deon said.

"The body is equipped with a house

frame, service bay doors and latches that

add longevity and durability, and give

longer life to all machine components;

while the box section side frames add

strength to help localise any external

forces from damaging the product."

The key components of larger JCB

excavators have been used in building

this new model, including the JCB

DieselMAX 672 Engine, the 590L fuel

tank and the increased hydraulic tank

capacity.

The JS300 excavators use the JCB

Dieselmax 672, bringing increased

fuel efficiency and a fuel consumption

reduction of up to 10

litres per hour, compared

to the externally sourced

Japanese engines used

in earlier models. The

fuel tank on this model

has been upgraded to

590L capacity, delivering

a 4.6% upgrade over its

predecessor to allow

longer run times without

stopping to refuel.

“One of the best ways to

get the most value from

your machines is through

fuel economy,” Deon said.

“It significantly increases

your service intervals and

reduces down time so

you can get jobs done more efficiently.”

Monkey Fist is a new patented device

for removing pre-sawn concrete slabs

without using a breaker, available from

Traxx Construction Products.

Designed to quickly remove sections of

concrete bridge decks, repair road beds

or renovate floor space in buildings, the

Monkey Fist works similarly to a wedge

anchor, but is reusable. To operate, users

core drill a 2" hole in or near the centre

of the piece to be removed (for balance),

New concrete leverage anchor

insert the Monkey Fist and lift the slab

out. To recover the Monkey Fist just lift

the release handle, remove and reuse. For

optimal results, it is best if the concrete

has been sawn into manageable sized

slabs up to 3000kg per monkey fist.

The overall diameter of the Monkey Fist is

52mm; height is 205mm; made from heat

treated steel; with a weight of 4.5kg.
