GENERATORS, PUMPS, COMPRESSORS
Active Air Rentals has purchased over
$1.5 million of new equipment including
more than 100 portable air conditioners,
45 packaged air conditioners and an
assortment of air handlers, chillers and the
latest generation of silent generators.
Brad Sweeny, Active Air Rentals Director
said: “We have had a large increase in
demand from our growing customer base
and are predicting a warm summer this
year. We know anyone can give good
service in October when it’s 25ºC and
there are five jobs on the books. But the
difference is what happens in February
when it’s been 42ºC for three days straight
and everyone in the city wants an air
conditioner. This is when our experience,
preparation and skills take effect. We have
a very skilled team and now with this large
investment we are ensuring we have the
newest and sufficient stock levels to service
our customer needs.”
Active Air Rentals Generators range from
6kVA to 500kVA and are available on both
trailer and skid mounts.

Active Air invests
$1.5m for summer
The team at
Compressed Air and
Power Solutions
Australia (CAPS)
recently took a
challenge to wear a
purple bra over their
clothes to help raise
much needed funds
to support West
Australians affected
by breast cancer.
To raise funds
and awareness
of the disease,
Breast Cancer
Care WA called on
cancer survivors
and supporters to
become superheroes
for Purple Bra Day. More than 4,000
champions took the challenge, including
CAPS’ Perth Service Coordinator, Nat
Saunders, who raised an exceptional $920.
All proceeds will help provide support to
the women, their family members and the
carers trying to overcome breast cancer.
CAPS wears Purple with pride
“It was also great to
see so many more people
become aware of the
great work Breast Cancer
Care WA does; providing
emotional, practical and
financial support, tailored
to meet the individual
needs of WA families
affected by breast cancer.”
The current fundraising
total from the day stands
at more than $390,000,
with Breast Cancer Care WA
overwhelmed by the effort
and generosity from the
whole WA community.
The country’s largest
independent, compressed
air company, CAPS Australia
is hoping to continue supporting the
charity throughout the year. Donations to
Breast Cancer Care WA can be made via:
