The New Year has started busily for Total
Sanitation Solutions with an order from
a national portable toilet and event hire
company to build a variety of 12 multi-use
transportable toilet blocks.
Six of the units will be what is commonly
referred to in the trade as ‘16 x panners’
Transportable toilet block buildings contract won
– ie: the blocks have eight separate unisex
toilet cubicles on either side totalling 16.
Each cubicle is fitted with the water
saving Thetford ‘Bravura’ pedal flush
toilet, a stainless steel corner mounted
wash hand basin with auto-off tap, liquid
soap dispenser and multi-roll toilet paper
dispenser.
Chris Sharp, Total San’s
Marketing Director said:
“The units are robustly
designed and built so they can
withstand the transportation
and hundreds of loadings and
unloadings off tilt-tray trucks.
“The remaining six units
will be fitted out as more
upmarket VIP combined
male and female units using
the same footprint but
with a dividing interior wall
thrilled with the win.
The Best Custom Stand
category was judged by
an independent panel
of industry experts using
a number of criteria,
including the company’s
creative response to the
client brief, details on
the timeframe of the
project, demonstration of
innovation and corporate
social responsibility.
Jim said the company
was now preparing for a
challenging year in 2014.

separating the two. The female units
include three individual cubicles, vanity
units, mirrors, down-lighting, décor
panelling and high quality, heavy duty
vinyl flooring,” Chris said.
“The male section provides three cubicles
and three separate wall mounted urinals, a
vanity unit and wash hand basins.”
Total San Technical Director, Scott
Bielenberg said: “All the units are
constructed on specially designed 4000
litre waste holding tanks but can be
connected direct to sewer. Fresh water
is fed in through special fittings as is the
power supply. In this instance we have
built a ‘baker’s dozen’, so if anyone needs
a ‘16 x panner’ unit we have one available
on a ‘first in – first served’ basis at a very
competitive price,” Chris said.
