Rent to Retain Machinery,
established mid-2013, provides
customers with ‘warehouse
and construction machinery
sales and solutions’ for capital
equipment purchases, long term
lease agreements, tailored fleet
management packages and
equipment sourcing (both new
and used).
According to Rent to Retain
Machinery General Manager, Scott
Daly: “With our background in senior
management roles in both the hire and
capital equipment fields we felt there was
a gap in the market to provide multiple
options in equipment sourcing.
“Our philosophy with the new
business will focus on long-term business
opportunities and outright purchasing. We
feel the market is always looking
for suppliers who are proactive and
customer focused. Customers need to feel
comfortable with suppliers and ultimately

it needs to be easy to do business with
suppliers. Connecting with customers is
key,” Scott said.
“Our target market is just about
any industry; warehousing, logistics,
maintenance, construction and also
supplying equipment to the hire industry.
Equipment will include materials handling
and elevated work platforms. We can also
provide service packages, finance support
and parts for aftermarket requirements.”
The business is led by Tim Nuttall and
Scott Daly with a support crew of
20 staff across a sales team, service
department and administration.
“We have brought together a
team that has extensive hire and
capital sales experience. For a
business to evolve you need the
right people,” Scott said.
“We have been actively trading
since mid-2013. We have some
internal KPI’S we want to meet
however at the end of the
day it’s about getting in front of the
customer. Initial plans see us working
with a number of manufacturers to
source machinery that suits customer
requirements. We are also always on
the lookout for new equipment and
innovations from offshore manufacturers.
“Our initial location will be Melbourne
however we have already had enquiry and
activity from interstate customers.”
