Doosan Portable Power has
completed a global transition
from its former Ingersoll Rand
brand. The transition is complete
for Doosan Portable Power
equipment, including portable air
compressors, mobile generators,
portable light towers, light
compaction and truck-mounted
equipment.
Doosan Infracore acquired the
Ingersoll Rand Utility Equipment
business from Ingersoll Rand in
2007 to form Doosan Infracore
Portable Power. After the
acquisition, Doosan Portable
Power continued to incorporate
Ingersoll Rand into the machine
brand for five years.
Clark Equipment represents
Doosan Portable Power products
in Australia and operates
Global transition complete
for Doosan Portable Power
extensive dealer and branch
networks throughout Australia
and New Zealand, serving drilling,
mining, industrial, construction
and rural equipment markets.
Over a 60-year history, Clark
Equipment has launched,
established and supported
products and brands, including
the new Doosan branded
compressors, generators and light
towers from Doosan Portable
Power; Doosan wheel loaders
and heavy excavators and Bobcat
skid-steer loaders, utility vehicles,
telehandlers and mini excavators.

During the 10th annual
meeting in New Orleans at The
Rental Show 2012, the Global
Rental Alliance approved Alliance
membership of the Associação De
Locadoras (ALEC), the Brazilian
Rental Association based in São
Paulo, Brazil.
ALEC was represented at the
meeting by its president, Marco
Aurélio da Cunha, managing
director of Sao Paulo Locadora
de Máquinas e Equipamentos,
a general equipment rental
company with operations in São
Paulo, Curitiba and Praia Grande.
ARA Rental Market Metrics was
presented at the meeting by John
McClelland, ARA Vice President,
who addressed the opportunity
for worldwide adoption of the

Leadership Program, administered
by the ARA Foundation, were
among key issues addressed.
