Complementing the existing CPT200D,
CPT300D and CPT400D Hatz diesel
powered machines, the Honda 4-stroke
powered machines provide a cost
effective option where diesel power is not
required.
Each model travels at 22m/min in
forward and reverse providing consistent
operation and compression results.
The speed and compaction depth is
continuously adjusted thanks to the
hydraulic servo-control that acts on the
vibrating element.
This results in a smooth and easily driven
movement forward and reverse.
The vibration isolated handlebars is a
most important feature reducing vibration
transfer to the operator’s hands.
The iron base-plate width varies with
the models with 500mm for the CPT150P,
600mm for the CPT200P and 640 and
Compact and affordable reversible plate compactors
Hoppt has added three new petrol models to its Australian range of reversible plate
compactors taking its range to six.

being achieved with
removal side plate
extensions.
Other features include
the lifelong lubricated
bearings for extended
service life, an Exciter
bearing design that
requires minimal
attention reducing service
time, a single lifting hook
and Honda engines with
low oil alert.
Backed by the Hoppt
two year warranty and
Honda’s three year engine
warranty, the new models
provide a solution for a wide range of
compacting requirements in applications
demanding consistent and reliable
performance, Russell Bourne, Hoppt
National Sales Manager said.

The new models share the durable design
seen on the larger machines in JCB’s next
generation compact excavator range,
with 100% steel bodywork and a four-
plate dipper arm construction.
JCB CEA National Product Manager for
Compact Equipment, Phil Withell said
the dig end is 100% bushed, allowing for
extended 500 hour greasing intervals.
"It has been redesigned with a longer
main boom and shorter dipper arm, which
provides up to 5% greater dump height
for easier truck and site dumper loading.
“The hydraulic system has also been
upgraded to deliver 9% more bucket
tear-out force and higher dipper arm
tear-out force. They also include optional
hydraulic or manual quick hitches that
can be selected for faster attachment
changeover,” Phil said.
“The design upgrades are all about
boosting the machines’ performance and
productivity,” Phil said.
“We’re seeing significant fuel savings
compared to other brands on the market,
especially on tonnes of material moved

per litre of fuel consumed.”
The new midis come with an improved
cab, which is 18% more spacious and
offers up to 11% more visibility.
“One of our biggest improvements with
these midis is the adoption of a new
display screen and control system, with
an automotive style rotary controller,
allowing easy access to a host of systems
and information,”
Phil said.
“The new screen
allows operators
to customise
their preferred
information.
“The operator
can set auxiliary
hydraulic flows
for two separate
attachments
from the cab,
while the menu
mode button
switches the
rotary controller
between throttle modes, including a one-
touch idle function and menu mode.
"The new 48Z and 55Z excavators
are available in zero tail-swing
configurations, offering concern-free
manoeuvrability, especially in confined
spaces,” he said.
