Available in two models, the new bi-

levelling scissors will traverse at heights

and tackle undulating or rough terrain

and are suitable for indoors and outdoors.

The Athena 630 bi-levelling scissor lift

is capable of reaching a working height

of 6.4m, can be driven at full height and

features a genuine two person basket

that can carry 200kg.

Features include a bi-levelling

undercarriage; 1700kg total weight; grade

ability 25˚; side slope 21˚; and automatic

levelling on two axes.

The Athena is simple to control and

adaptable to difficult and undulating

terrain. Its structure has been designed to

resist overload thanks to high resistance

steel lifting mechanisms. Athena crawler

lifts can withstand heavy and continuous

use. A cutting-edge electronic control

system manages all the testing devices

(tilting, stability, excessive load, etc), and

automatically controls the engine RPM,

optimising emissions and consumption

The Athena range of bi-levelling scissor lifts from Aspac combine the benefits of an

all-terrain and compact slab scissor in one unit.

while offering operator comfort and

excellent transfer speed.

The 220V current generator makes it

possible to use electric tools at heights so

there is no need for local power sources

and associated leads.

The Athena 850 bi-levelling scissor lift is

capable of reaching a working height of

8m. With compact dimensions, reduced

weight, easy handling and efficiency at

maximum working height these units are

practical, versatile and easy to operate.

With bi-levelling undercarriage; 250kg

load capacity; 1950kg total weight;

minimum width 1300mm; maximum

slope 25˚; and automatic levelling on two

axes, the Athena is adaptable to difficult

and undulating terrain indoors and out.

“Dingli takes the safety of customers very

seriously and as soon as this issue came

to light I and the Dingli team were on a

plane to China to work through a solution

with the manufacturer,” Managing

Director Ray Bengowski said.

“Dingli has employed the services of TUV

Rheinland to complete stability testing

on the slab scissor range and a report has

been received confirming the stability of

the machines will comply with Australian

Standards once the retrofit has been

installed.

“Dingli has also been in close contact

with the EWPA and is keeping them

informed regarding the stability issues

and would like to thank them for their

professionalism and support,” Ray said.

“Affected customers have been contacted

and advised of the interim restricted use

measures that have been put into place

to ensure the safety of the machines and

their operators, prior to the retrofit. Dingli

Dingli to back its products with retrofit and service

thanks our customers for their support

during these difficult times. The roll out of

the retrofit is now well underway and we

hope to complete it soon.

“For the first time since Dingli’s

inauguration in 2009 we will be attending

the Hire and Rental Show on the Gold

Coast.

"Representatives from Dingli China will

be on the stand and will be happy to

discuss any issues of concern anyone

may have in regards to the retrofit and

also excited to have the opportunity to

showcase some products new to 2016

and also some old favorites,” Ray said.

New in 2016 is the Dingli S036-RS micro

scissor which boasts ram steering,

automatic pothole protection, a maximum

working height of 5.6m and a platform

capacity of 240Kg.

Wind rated for working outside the new

scissor features a full 25% gradeability

and DC wheel mounted electric drive

motors for improved battery life.

Dingli’s Raptor MV095J Mast Lift has a

working height of 11.2m, active pothole

protection, a horizontal outreach of 3m

and can provide an up and over height of

7.89m.

Wind rated for a single occupant

outdoors it also features direct electric

drive over-centre steering for a tight

turning radius. The Apollo self-propelled

articulating boom lift (battery/electric)

offers two machines in this range with

working heights of 16m and 18.24m.

Environmentally friendly with zero

emissions and smooth and quiet

operation makes these machines ideal for

indoor use with applications. However

they are wind rated for two occupants

and offer 30% gradeability making them

all round machines for both indoor and

outdoor applications.

Further to the recent safety bulletin posted with the EWPA, Dingli assures its customers

it is working hard to rectify the stability issues with some of its early model machines.
