South Australian construction company
Theo Agelis Constructions was one of the
first in the country to try out the RL-H4C,
Topcon’s latest general construction laser.
Theo Agelis Constructions, residential civil
works and foundations contractor, has used
Topcon lasers for more than 10 years.
Theo Agelis uses the lasers to level sites at
site cut stage, check depth and base levels
when trenching and also when setting
levels for the concrete pour. Along with its
fleet of general construction lasers, Theo
Agelis Constructions operates a number of
machine-mounted Topcon laser receivers on
excavators and skid steer loaders for earth
work applications.
Kevin Prior, Project Coordinator for Theo
Agelis said: “Lasers definitely make our
work sites more productive. For example,
an employee cutting a site will generally be
working alone and with the aid of a blade
mounted receiver is able to check levels
without getting out the machine.”
Topcon’s new RL-H4C construction laser
includes single slope functionality and long-
range benefits, with a new 800m working
range. It also boasts the longest battery life

Kennards Concrete Care has added high
frequency external concrete vibrators to its
range of specialist hire equipment.
Kennards Concrete Care has also
entered a partnership with Peri Australia,
part of the world-wide engineering group,
a leader in formwork and scaffolding
systems.
External vibrators are suited for the
consolidation of concrete with concrete
forms, moulds and vibrating tables.
Increasingly, they are specified and used
for concrete pours involving complicated
shapes, rebar congestion, where a good
surface finish is required, or where access
is difficult. Small, light and flexible, they
are quick and easy to attach to the form
and move around, and the frequency can
be individually set and readjusted.
A powerful electric motor with vibration
resistant and heat-resistant motor coils
provides continuous operation and
maximum performance in the most
extreme applications. For more visit:
