Nion Industries has spent the past year
developing what it terms its range of
ground breaking LED lighting towers.
Set for release in September it offers
savings to the customer including reduced
fuel consumption and elimination of
electrocution risk via only using 24 VDC
electrical system, according to Product
Manager Simon Lawrie.
With a range of towers from LED to
12,000
watt metal halide units Nion
Industries has some 18 years in the mining
industry, in electrical maintenance.
Nion Industries range includes:
NI-DCLED - 1600 watt LED lighting
tower;
NI-AC4000 - 4000 watt metal halide
lighting tower;
NP-6000 - 6000 watt metal halide
lighting tower;
NM-8000 - 8000 watt metal halide
lighting tower; and
NK-12000 - 12000 watt metal halide
lighting tower.

Conplant’s new Ammann ARX tandem
rollers offer an OEM-supplied falling
object protective structure option for
improved health and safety.
The new ARX series machines, designed
by Ammann in consultation with
Conplant, have an integrated rollover
protective structure (ROPS) with a falling
ROPS/FOPS brings new level of safety
object protective structure (FOPS) option.
The new ARX range has 13 models
from 1.3 to 4.7 tonnes. The larger ARX36,
ARX40 and ARX45 models have two
amplitudes and two frequencies which
give broader capabilities across soil and
