Atlas Copco’s new QLTS solar light tower provides light with no
noise, no emissions, no fuel and no external charging for weeks.
According to Phil Ryan, Business Development Manager – Light
and Power – Atlas Copco Portable Energy, there’s no rotating parts,
no fluids to refill, no risk of oil spillage and no maintenance for two
years. Emitting nothing but construction quality light, the QLTS solar
light tower is available in 4, 6 and 8 light versions with the ability
to add two lights to the 4 and 6 models to achieve a total of eight
lights.

independently, enabling
great flexibility with

operating at any one
time. The new light
towers are ideal for noise
sensitive environments
as well as remote areas
where fuel sources are

LED lights are fitted
to the QLTS’s 8m (20
foot) extendable 360o
rotating mast. The LED
lights switch on and
off instantly, with no
warming or cooling time.

Nothing but light
The Super Silenced 9m Himoinsa Lighting Tower from Crommelins
Machinery Sales is easily towable, attaches to most vehicles, diesel
powered, compact, generates 6.4kVA of single phase power.
The hydraulic powered mast can stretch to 9m high, can be
manually rotated a full 360° degrees, and the four individually
switched 1000w metal halide lights
can be tilted using the Electric
Adjustable Light Tilt (with the
press of a button). The Tower is
programmable to auto start/stop,
with a seven day timer and can be
easily controlled by a single person.
The Himoinsa Light Tower is
powered by a Yanmar 6.4kVA
diesel generator and can also
run off mains power. Safety
