Scaffworx aluminium scaffold company was recently acquired by
Rightquip, manufacturer, importer of aluminium scaffolding.
Rightquip which is involved in the sales of mobile aluminium
scaffolding, folding scaffold and system scaffolding intends to
incorporate its scaffold sales operations under the Scaffworx brand
and improve the service and product offering.
The acquisition of Scaffworx was seen as a good fit for both
companies, enabling the demand in scaffold to be met by the
surplus capacity in Rightquip’s factory.
Triston Smith and Tom Raptis of Rightquip are always on the
lookout for any growth opportunities and when offered the
opportunity by Dan Abbott from Hire One did not hesitate and
acted quickly to secure Scaffworx.
“Going forward, nothing changes with Scaffworx; business will
continue. It has been our intention to ensure the least impact upon
the business and to make the transition as seamless as possible,”
Tristan and Tom said.
Scaffworx products include: Tradie –folding scaffold; 160 Series
– a lightweight and durable 1.6mm wall aluminium scaffold; 260
Series –aluminium scaffold, comprising 48mm and 2.6mm thick
