Also leverage your other online presences
with each other, make sure you include
like buttons on your website, emails, email
newsletters, email signatures etc. Promote
your social media sites on all of your
communications including press releases,
blogs, email subscribers, newsletters,
brochures, price lists, business cards etc.
Facebook has advertising that is quite
cost effective and can generate traffic to
your page or website. Facebook ads can
promote a website, a brand, product,
service, event or FB page or group. You can
really target your advertising by country,
state, suburb, age, gender, relationship
status, education, languages, workplace
and likes, interests and connections on FB
and much more. The costs are based on
cost per impression CPI or cost per click CPC,
because the click through rate is usually low
this is the best value.
Measuring results is the key part of any
marketing strategy and Facebook provides
its own analytics data on a regular basis.
Each week you will receive an email with
analytics including page visits, new likes,
content your fans are engaging with, active
users, posts and comments on your page
and unsubscribes. Use this data to maximise
the results of your Facebook marketing
efforts and determine what works and
what doesn’t.

NSW Away Meeting - Trade Night
In February, the HRIA NSW branch held a hands-on
Trade Night at National President, Mark Scarce’s
Camden Hire premises.
Crommelins Machinery Sales sponsored the well-
attended and high interest event, with Genie, Hilti and
Dingo showing their equipment for ‘demonstration
and repair’. The following are some photos from the
night.
