The vCAM solution also provides real-
time GPS vehicle tracking, vehicle status
information as well as video and audio
monitoring capability with the data
recorder configured to upload GPS data
to the vCAM server at default one minute
intervals. This will help reduce on-road
risk and expenses related to collisions,
vehicle abuse and running costs such as
fuel and maintenance as well as in terms
of incident analysis, dispute resolution
and a reduction in fraudulent claims.
The vCAM comes with a Content
Management System (CMS) which
provides satellite maps which can
historically track the vehicle with plotting
on a map and detailed reporting.
It also comes with configurable alarms
such as speed, tampering, and GPS/Video
signal loss.
With remote video download, storage and
replay and option to establish geo-fences
the CMS is also available on iOS and
Android platforms for viewing on the go.
