EQUIPMENT

The CMT-100 Cart-Away mixing trailer

can batch 0.8m

3

of concrete quickly and

efficiently and when full can be towed by

most 4WD or large utes. With the easy to

load rear chute system the mixing trailers

can be loaded on-site with either a small

skid steer loader such as a Kanga /Dingo

through to full size Bobcats or small front

end loaders with a bucket width of up to

1550mm. With an overall trailer width of

1700mm and height of under 2100mm,

customers can mix concrete in tight

locations, such as in a backyard with only

a small single car garage roller door for

access where mini-mix trucks cannot fit.

Others will just want to take advantage of

being able to mix quality concrete for less

than half the cost of delivered concrete

or to have the flexibility to mix when

and where they require without the back

breaking manual shovelling when using

small portable mixers.

The CUBE is a compact batching plant.

With a 1500kg empty weight and small

footprint it is easy to transport and offers

a batch rate of over 6m

3

per hour.

The Cart-Away equipment has been used

by hire companies and contractors for

more than 20 years in the US and Canada.

Quality mixing system accesses tight spots

The Cart-Away mixing systems offer a system to mix concrete, mortar, render,

stabilised sand, loam / fertiliser mixes, playground soft fall on-site utilising the CUBE

(Cart-Away Universal Batching Equipment) or mixing trailer systems.

It utilises quality

components such as

Honda motors and

thermo plastic mud

guards that bounce

back into shape if

hit.

According to Cart

Away’s Jeremy

Glassel: “Operating

our equipment is

easy, our unique

‘Gearsaver’ knob

hydraulically

controls the mixing

barrel rotational

direction and speed

and a lever raises/

lowers the barrel

during unloading.

“The Cart-Away

experience does not just include our

quality mixing equipment since we

also have an App to ensure the users of

Cart-Away equipment produce quality

concrete every time,” Jeremy said.

“Our free App will calculate the volume

of concrete required for the project,

compute the volume of each of the

materials required as well as provide

a step by step recipe for each batch

using either our CMT-100, CMK-175 or

CUBE concrete mixers. The Cart-Away

App is free and can be easily found at

the iTunes or Google Play app stores by

searching ‘Cart-Away Concrete Mixing

Calculator’ or follow the link from: www.

cart-away.net.au"
