Other Tsurumi features
include a unique anti-
wicking cable gland that
makes it virtually impossible
for water to enter the motor
through the cable. A double
silicon carbide mechanical

The range includes big
submersible pumps that
offer up to 250m head capacity and flows

The Tile Smasher jackhammer

tiles, vinyl and cork. It can also be used to
remove the residue from tile beds in floor
preparation jobs.
The Tile Smasher is machined from
a solid block of tool-grade steel and
features a 2mm thick high tensile steel

mining town of Newman in the Pilbara WA.
The “package” included one 500kVA
and four 250kVA generators, the latter
being synchronised to make two 500kVA
generators.
Cable Layers Australia was carrying out a
new underground installation in Newman.

We had to drop the overhead power
while we laid the new cable,” Jason Knight,
Managing Director of Cable Layers Australia
said.

BHP Biliton stipulated we needed
generators if outages were longer than four
hours. We were very happy with the quality
