CONVENTION PREVIEW
From this summer on, global water
company Pentair will utilise Honda
engines to power the Onga Blazemaster
range of fire fighting pumps.
Onga Blazemaster pumps are designed
for residents of fire-prone areas to move
water economically from dams, tanks and
swimming pools to the fire front.
Honda is now supplying Pentair with
the GX160, 200 and 270 engines in recoil
and electric start.
With the influx of low-cost, low-
quality imports, Pentair believes it is
important to align our products with the
best available brands,” Paul said.
Honda MPE’s National Engine manager,
Chris New said: “When it comes to fire
fighting products, worrying if your engine
is going to start is one thing you don’t
need,” he said.

The Winlet Glass Lifter offers safer and
more productive ways to handle glass
panels.
The Winlet is available in two
configurations of 350 and 575kg and
according to ASPAC’s Martin Eade there is
huge potential for hire in an industry where
manual handling and related injuries are
commonplace.
The use of double glazed glass is now
commonplace on worksites and with the
glass size also increasing it is not uncommon
for glass panels to weight in excess of 300kg
making manual handling difficult and
dangerous,” Martin said.
The Winlet eliminates these risks while
reducing the amount of labour required on
large installation projects.
The Winlet’s dual vacuum system
exceeds Australian standards, is simple and
quick to operate, extremely reliable and
has inbuilt safety features that prevent
overloading,” Martin said.
