Sinoboom take on HIRE25 headline sponsorship

In a move reflecting their impressive progress in the Australian market, Sinoboom Australia have taken on the headline sponsorship slot for the Hire Industry’s annual convention, HIRE25.
HIRE25, which will be set in Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre for the first time since 2019, will again play host to nearly 2,000 delegates on the 5th and 6th of June 2025.
57 years on from the inaugural gathering of senior managers and business owners from across the Hire sector, the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) will be focusing on the challenges facing members and will further help to shape the future of the industry in Australia.
A big part of this challenge is to both develop the massive amount of talent already present among our members and also to highlight the industry as a desirable place to forge a career. “Hire is not an easy sector to define. But it’s extremely broad, serving just about every vertical industry in Australia. And we know that the variety of careers available in Hire make it a hugely attractive place to work. We know this from members who have come in from markets as wide-ranging as mining to hairdressing,” said HRIA CEO, James Oxenham.
Sinoboom’s sponsorship comes hot on the heels of a series of major launches from Bauma China, including the announcement of a prototype 6m/2,500kg compact telehandler, which can take 2,500kg to its 5.8m lift height and manage 800kg at the maximum 3.36m forward reach. It is expected to reach production early next year.
General Manager of Sinoboom Australia, Mitch Ely, added: “Australia has always been an important market for Sinoboom. Customers in this region know a quality brand when they see one, so the success here is meaningful to customers right around the globe.”
The new AB10J was also on display at Bauma China. This 34ft rough-terrain diesel boom lift features a high-output hydraulic system with high-efficiency piston pump, which has also been integrated into a number of other boom lifts as part of their upgrades. The new model features a working height of 11.62m, an overall width of 1.85m and an overall stowed height of 1.99m. Platform capacity is 250kg and it has a total weight of just under five tonnes. A one-function pure vertical lift function is also standard. The AB10J has standard four-wheel drive and an oscillating axle. 30 units have already been built, with a good number earmarked for Australia.
