HTS TENTIQ named Events Supplier of the Year at HIRE22 Awards

Hire and Rental Industry Association members voted temporary structure development and manufacture company HTS TENTIQ Supplier of the Year in the Events Division of the prestigious industry award.

HTS TENTIQ Sales Manager Australia and NZ, Jeff Stevens accepted the prize at the Awards Gala Dinner on May 26 in front of an audience of 400 HRIA members at HIRE22.

“It’s been a very tough two years for the event guys,” said Jeff. “The first 12 months was absolutely devastating, but on behalf of Peter Thorpe, Simone Mitchell, our Australian office, and the German company itself, we’d love to thank all our customers, because they’re what makes us. And to the industry, just keep getting behind the event guys, thank you.”

The HRIA Supplier of the Year is an award with four categories – Events, Software/Service Provider (won by Point of Rental), Access (won by Haulotte Australia) and General Hire (won by 1300TempFence). Nominees are selected by HRIA members who then vote for their choice of businesses that have performed exceptionally well in each division.

Australia’s hire and rental industry was valued at $8.5 billion by data analyst IbisWorld in their 2019 Industry Report. The majority of the country’s hire companies provide rental equipment to the construction industry with the remainder supplying, in descending order, the sectors of infrastructure, home DIY, major events and parties.
