W ith the acquisition of Yarra Hire the company has expanded its reach in north-west Victoria with a new 2,500m2 location in Ravenhall, bringing the network in Victoria to 28 branches. New branch at Byron Bay Following a boost in construction, renovation and home improvement in the Byron shire, Kennards Hire has expanded its network in regional NSW with the acquisition of Byron Hire, bringing the Kennards Hire branch network to 52 locations across NSW. Steve Kennedy, who has managed the site for the past 11 years, will remain as Branch Manager and said the branch will offer a range of equipment never seen before in the area. In another expansion move, the company has also acquired Sydney based, market specialist temporary power rental business, Power Distribution Rentals (PDR).
