Some improvements have been made to the website including access to public resources and to Australian Standards for members. The National Office staff also undertook some technical and Gold Card training to increase their knowledge of Telehandlers. The Gold Card training program is growing steadily with around 100 Gold Cards issued each month. With some committee projects now completed, it is timely to ask members to share any issues they would like assistance with. We are here to tackle the issues that matter to our market, so please contact us any time. On a personal note, in the past 12 months I sold my training business but have remained in the industry as an independent contractor and consultant. Hopefully this means I will now have some extra time to promote the interests of the Association and its members! In February, the TSHA held a General Meeting and AGM (9 February) which was very well attended. Nominations and elections of office bearers took place with some new faces taking roles on our Board. I'd like to welcome Anthony Lockwood from JCB CEA and Simon Arendts from Manitou as Executive Committee members, and Peter Davis from Coates Hire as our Vice President. My thanks to the past committee members for their time and effort. We have accomplished much and it is all due to the hard work and commitment our voluntary committee members contribute. It is with pleasure I announce all major OEMs are now members of the Association and we've a steady increase in rental companies becoming members which is fantastic for the industry and lifts the profile of the Association.
