Offering a working height of 16.0m and outreach of up to 12.2m, the Snorkel 460SJ features a 2.0m jib boom for additional flexibility. Designed for use in tough environments, the Snorkel 400S and 460SJ deliver up to 50% gradeability and constant four wheel drive from standard oscillating axles. In late 2017, Snorkel released two larger mid-size telescopic booms into US production – the 600S and 660SJ. The Snorkel 660S has a maximum working height of 20.4m and is also available as the 660SJ with a 2m jib boom added for additional flexibility. Both models feature Snorkel’s 2.4m x 0.91m tri-entry platform and all proportional boom functions, including jib and platform rotate. All four boom lifts will be available in Australia in late 2018. Snorkel Telescopic Mast Lifts Set for global production in 2018 and to be launched at The Rental Show, the new Snorkel TM12E and TM16E telescopic mast lifts join the original Snorkel TM12 mast lift. The TM12E offers a working height of up to 5.65m and can lift up to 227kg. Weighing in at 884kg, this lightweight, portable work platform features a 0.45m roll-out extension as standard, for additional reach indoor or outdoor. Snorkel will also showcase the award- winning TM16E – the third model in the line of Snorkel telescopic mast lifts. Offering a working height of up to 6.87m, the TM16E can lift up to 227kg and weighs just 1,070kg. Powered by 24V 220-Ah batteries, both self-propelled lifts come with a brand new electric drive system, bringing the additional benefit of a zero inside turning radius and making it ideal for working in confined spaces. This highly efficient system draws up 50% less amps than the hydraulic drive version, allowing the operator to work longer with increased duty cycles and with greater efficiency. Snorkel lightweight electric scissors Snorkel will also launch the S3215L lightweight electric slab scissor lift which delivers a working height of 6.4m and a lift capacity of up to 304kg. Designed to be lightweight without sacrificing performance, this lift weighs 952kg which is 272kg lighter than the Snorkel S3215E. By reducing the weight of non-structural components, the dramatic weight loss gives the new Snorkel S3215L a 195psf. floor load comparable with other ‘low floor load’ lifts. Snorkel Electric Scissor Lifts In early 2017, Ahern Australia introduced Snorkel’s new line of six electric scissor lifts, including the compact and nimble S3215E and S3219E, the mid-size S3220E and S3226E, and the high-capacity S4726E and S4732E. Snorkel offers six electric slab scissor lifts all designed to deliver low total ownership costs. Features include dual shear scissor stacks; upsized kingpins for rigidity; high quality components for reliability; a fixed upper control box to reduce risk of theft or damage; an integrated power outlet for hand tools; and saloon-door style entry gates for easy access into the platform. The compact and nimble Snorkel S3219E has a working height of 7.79m and a lift capacity of up to 250kg, can be driven through a standard doorway and used outdoors by one person. Sharing the same features, the smaller Snorkel S3215E delivers a working height of 6.6m, but can lift up to 272kg, while the higher capacity S3220E offers a working height of 8.1m and a lift capacity of up to 408kg. Utilising the same chassis as the Snorkel S3220E, the S3226E can lift 250kg to a working height of 9.9m. Offering the highest lift capacity in the Snorkel electric scissor lift family, the S4726E can lift 454kg to a working height of 9.9m, making it ideal for slab applications. The largest lift in the family, the Snorkel S4732E can lift 318kg to a working height of 11.8m.
