The new HVAC systems (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) have been procured fromActronAir, also a family-owned business. Moreton Hire Managing Director, Peter Morahan said the launch of the new products and ancillary items are a first for the event hire industry in Australia. “The Commonwealth Games require the highest level of mechanical engineering in HVAC. We have never seen this before in the Australian event market; it has completely redefined our ability to offer niche, bespoke packages for our clients,” Peter said. The entry level system is a 4.5kW portable unit, with the premium offering a 96kW tri-capacity packaged unit. Moreton Hire’s range is supported with in-house electrical engineers for safe and reliable installation. Available for both short-term or long-term hire, the systems can be hired individually or with a marquee designed to cater for the HVAC equipment.
