JCB has added two new models to
its range of dipper mounted hydraulic
breakers.
“
These superb new breakers deliver
impressive impact power with the HM380
capable of 981 joules at up to 900 blows per
minute, while the HM2180 delivers 5,350
joules at up to 800 blows per minute,” JCB

The JCB exclusively designed side plates
ensure maximum use of the hydraulic
breakout power and also allow excellent
stowage when moving around and in-
between sites.”
The breakers’ pin centre geometry
provides optimum safety during stowage
and site movement, while the maintenance
free accumulator absorbs hydraulic shocks
to protect the machine and the breaker.
“
An internal valve control system
makes more efficient use of oil flow,
saving on costs, and the simple design has
fewer moving parts than other breakers,
extending component life,” Mathew said.
The HM380 is designed for use on the JCB

CX backhoe loader, 8055 midi excavator
and 8065 excavator as well as competitor
machines with similar geometry and
hydraulic characteristics.
The HM2180 is designed to fit the JCB JS
excavator range and competitor hydraulic
excavators between 20 and 26 tonnes.
The HM2180 is also fitted with the JCB
automatic lube system as standard, helping
extend the life of the breaker.

All JCB breakers are delivered ready
to use, including all hoses and couplings,
a moil and chisel, grease gun, grease and
handbook,” Mathew said.

JCB’s new hydraulic breakers are designed for tough working conditions
The new SmartMixx portable mixing
station from Work Smart Equipment can
mix up to 80kg (4 x 20kg bags) of self-
levelling cement or compounds in three
minutes.
Designed by flooring contractors,
SmartMixx produces a consistent mix, Paul
