As one of MLA’s long standing customers, a team from Agility
Project Logistics, providers of integrated logistics, visited the Linde
manufacturing plant in China.
After a factory tour and an inspection of how the trucks are created,
Agility placed an order for an additional two C4531TL Vulcan Reach
Stackers. Agility has been a customer of MLA since September 2009
and currently has seven battery electric trucks, 17 IC forklifts, three 32
ton forklift trucks and four reach stackers.
Senior Operation Manager at Agility, Warren Greenhalgh said: “The
Vulcans have been particularly good; they are fuel efficient; quiet; and
the driver comfort keeps the staff pretty happy. There has been no
unplanned down time on these machines. They operate 6 x 10 hour
days a week.
They at one stage put a technician on a plane with the necessary
parts and flew him up to fix the machine. This is a level of service I
have not seen in Australasia let alone Western Australia.”
