This May I represented HIANZ in Sydney
at the HRIA annual convention & trade
show and managed to spend a day with
Mark Scarce and Mike Flesher (ARA
President). Our main topic of discussion
was the ARA Leadership Exchange. This
program would certainly create a greater
understanding and closer relationship
between HIANZ, ARA and the wider GRA.

HIANZ Conference next on calendar
Rebecca Murdoch has joined the
Moreton Hire Team as the National
Corporate Sales Manager after returning
from working overseas to manage the
Custom Stand Department and head up a
Corporate Platform within the company.
Rebecca comes with over 25 years’
experience in management, sales and
operational roles, and for the past 16 years
has been involved within the Exhibition
and Event industry as an Event organiser.
Some of her career highlights and
experience include working with the
Commonwealth Games in Melbourne,
Melbourne Cup carnivals, Grand Prix,
Australian Open’s, Vancouver Winter
Olympics, Australian and International
Exhibition Arenas and most recently an
operational and delivery role within
LOCOG at the London Olympics.
It’s exciting to be involved with the

domestic and

experience

New Starters to its growing Business
Development Team.
Livia de Vos has joined in Brisbane as
Business Development Manager, QLD.
Livia has a strong career in the Events
industry previously holding positions of
Event Manager and recently as Account
Manager at Cievents.

The Hire
