United Rentals snaps up Shore Hire
Shore Hire, Australia’s leading supplier of temporary works solutions, has announced that the business has agreed to being acquired by United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company. Additional information about United Rentals is available at unitedrentals.com
The sale process is expected to be completed in mid-September and on completion, Shore Hire will join Royal Wolf and Orange Hire under the ownership of United Rentals in Australia.
Shore Hire’s specialist expertise across a range of disciplines such as hire, engineering, installation, manufacturing, and transport when combined with Unted Rentals’ 25 years of industry leadership will create valuable synergies.
The existing Shore Hire team will remain in place, ensuring continued great levels of service and innovative products for our customers and partners.
Shore Hire is working to ensure a seamless transition and at this stage, there are no operational or accounting changes.
