Marquee tech launches in Australia

Pioneering new automation software created by the British company Marquee Tech is now available in Australia. After success across UK marquee and tent companies, the company has launched down under, signing up several companies including MEH Events (QLD), Marquee Monkeys (SA) and Riverina Party Hire (NSW).
Coming from a tent hire background, the company founders set out to solve niche problems faced by the tent industry.
For example, the company has addressed the time consuming process of building a CAD by developing a Quote – To – CAD algorithm, which works like this:
The system takes in all the input data (dimensions of structure, usable internal space, the hire items) and creates a too-scale CAD. It took two years to develop this tech and the company received funding from the UK Gov Research and Development Tax Relief Scheme.
Alongside CAD automation, Marquee tech has also automated or semi-automated invoice creation and payment-chasing; bookkeeping and accounting administration; quote building and tent sizing, stock control, no-code stock automation and reporting.
“If you’re a small business, you’ll spend less time working, you’ll drive fewer hours, go to bed earlier and most importantly, you’ll be able to say no to un-profitable jobs,” Bill Verwey, founder of Marquee Tech, said.
“If you are a large company, your staff are going to be happier working on a system that automates the boring administrative tasks.”
