On the lead up to National Safe Work Month, we are sharing some of the new resources the HRIA has made available around transport safety.
We are pleased to advise that in addition to the Chain of Responsibility and Load Restraint training available, we have recently made available a Tow Ball Information poster / document as well as a VMS Board Placement and Message Guidance Document.
The first offers guidance for customers on the use and planning of variable message sign (VMS). While this is ultimately the responsibility of the PCBU (person conducting a business or undertaking) the guidance gives members further resources to help their customers remain compliant.

Customers using light vehicles to transport equipment, the HRIA, alongside Engistics have created Light Vehicle Load Restraint & Tow Ball posters. These posters can be downloaded, printed and used in your hire yard as well as used for training purposes.
