In October, European Rental Week 2024, an initiative founded by the European Rental Association, will promote this year’s theme, “Working in Rental for a Sustainable Future,”.
The theme aims to highlight the industry’s commitment to sustainability. One of the industry’s main pillars is to drive positive environmental impact while delivering value to customers and communities. From construction machinery to event equipment, the Hire sector offers a wide range of sustainable solutions designed to meet customers’ evolving needs while promoting resource conservation and sharing. At the heart of the rental industry are the dedicated, expert, and passionate Hire professionals who drive innovation, efficiency, and growth.
The HRIA and HIANZ are also joining in with the aim of showing the world what it’s like to work in the Hire and Rental industry.
How to get involved
The HRIA would love to reach young, curious minds through social media and inspire them to consider a career in Hire and Rental. Many, who work in the Hire industry did not plan for a career in this sector, but now “love every second” of it.
To help promote the industry, we’re inviting employees at every level and every department in Hire, to participate by recording a short video and posting it to social media.
You can help us highlight how rewarding and exciting it is to work in Hire and Rental by sharing your own experiences. We encourage you to have fun and show off your unique perspective! Videos can be shared between today and 20 October.
Join the Challenge in 3 Steps
- Record a very short video that shows what it’s like to work in hire and rental or share something insightful/fun about your job. Videos should preferably be 30 seconds to 2 minutes long. The shorter, the better.
- Tag the HRIA, your company and use hashtags #HRIA #CareersInHire #RentalWeek2024 #WorkInRental #WorkInHire
- Share it and tag your colleagues. We will select our favourites to also share and reach an even wider audience
Have Fun!
This is your chance to be creative and show the world what makes the Hire and Rental industry a great workplace. Whether through humour, insight, or showing a typical day, we want to see your perspective!
