Uphire is rolling out Inauro’s Perspio™ platform across its NSW and Queensland operations to activate equipment telematics that give customers the benefits of a ‘personal command centre’.
The installation sees all Uphire access and traffic management ranges brought together in a single software platform. It will provide customers and the business’s operational teams with a central view of the assets in their scope, complete with enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration, workflow automation and analytics.
“To support our telematics ambitions and ensure our equipment provides customers with the best outcomes in safety and efficiency, we needed to make a choice between rationalising our telematics hardware or moving to a more agile way of working which is better suited to our operation,” said Ilsa Walsh, Business Services Manager at Uphire.
“Perspio gives us the flexibility to leverage manufacturer telematics as well as deploying the right hardware for the right machine without having to undergo complex IT projects. We’re excited about the capability this brings us.”
Real time decision-making
With the fleet telematics and ERP data flowing through to Perspio, Uphire now has a contextual view of its fleet in real time, and is underway with automating servicing, operations, and management workflows.
Inauro is an Australian data fusion company that specialises in leveraging data from IoT devices, digital forms, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems to create value in operational workflows. Leveraging the platform, Perspio, Inauro specialises in providing instant awareness and recommendations for operational teams to make better decisions.
“With access equipment being quite varied, telemetry systems all have different attributes and capabilities, from simple location monitoring to access control,” said Craig Kesby, Co-CEO at Inauro.
“Building from this, we’re excited to now support Uphire with the ability to create further integrations to customer safety systems, equipment pre-starts and many others through a single interface.”
Uphire has a strong focus on safety and is dedicated to modernisation through their partner company Innov8. Their efforts have been recognised with many industry awards, including HRIA’s 2015 Hire Company of the Year, in the under $5M award category.
