Trailer-mounted ‘cherry pickers’ so versatile

Nifty’s road-towable, trailer-mounted, cherry pickers can be transported easily from site to site and set up quickly using manual or hydraulic outriggers, according to Nifty’s John King.
“Nifty ‘cherry pickers’ are built to be as light and compact as possible and offer an excellent working envelope for their size, with working heights ranging from 9m (30ft) to over 21m (69ft),” John said.
“Easy to use proportional controls make them simple to operate and features such as telescopic booms, fly-booms, platform rotation, traction drive and hydraulic outriggers all help to maximise their effectiveness.”
Nifty cherry pickers are available in power options including battery, mains, petrol, diesel and ‘Bi-Energy’ (eg: battery and diesel), which combines the benefits of two power sources on the same machine.
“The Bi-energy option provides for extended cycles outside on petrol or diesel power with battery packs for indoors or zero emissions work, with at least a day’s work from each battery.”
Other Nifty trailer-mounted ‘Cherry Picker’ features include low weight for ease of towing with most vehicles (100kph towing speeds on all Nifty trailer mounted machines), but the machines retain a strong robust build quality; plus simple reliable hydraulic systems; colour coded wire for easy diagnosing; and simple straight forward controls.
“Nifty’s trailer mounts have proven very popular worldwide, in particular in Australia, the US, and of course Europe.
“Nifty built its first trailer mount in 1985. From there we have built a range of machines, but only two are no longer in production, showing how the machines have stood the test of time,” John said.
“Nifty constantly looks at its product line up and updates and modifies them to keep abreast of the latest innovations and standards. The Nifty 150T has just had a revamp after customer feedback, making it even easier to use.”
