Kennards Foundation hosts VIP experience

Kennards Hire Foundation recently welcomed more than 100 young football fans and their families to Allianz Stadium in Sydney to enjoy a free VIP experience at the Sydney FC and Melbourne City match.
The young fans were beneficiaries of several long-standing charity partners of the Kennards Hire Foundation, including BackTrack, The Smith Family, Stepping Stone House, Kids Xpress, and Taronga Zoo. They watched the nail-biting match from the bespoke Kennards Hire Kids Bay with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.
As a special treat, Sydney FC players shared a personal welcome video via SMS while players Aaron Gurd and Wataru Kamijo made a guest appearance. The children and their families also shared the unforgettable experience of walking onto the field following the match.
The Kennards Hire Foundation was established in 2018, formalising decades of philanthropic and community support to help make Australia and New Zealand better places for future generations through support of disadvantaged youth and environmental conservation. Kennards Hire Kids Bay was a unique experience which enabled families and children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and excitement of an A-League game live.
Kennards Hire Foundation Director, Kirsty Kovacs, said, “We were thrilled to have so many young people from our charity partner organisations, joining us in the Kennards Hire Kids Bay. Sydney FC have been a partner of Kennards Hire for eight years now, and we’re so grateful to their team, and the players, for giving these young people such a special experience and making them feel part of the football community.”
